Hi all,
I am installing dspace on MAC OSX 10.4.I followed the steps given in
http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/Installing_DSpace_on_Mac_OS_X.
I didn't understand whether to include those three lines (export
JAVA_HOME,export CATALINA_HOME, export JAVA_OPTS) in
/usr/local/tomcat/conf/server.xml.
I have added URIEncoding="UTF-8" in server.xml under <Connector
port="8080"..../> tag.
Configuration:
Apache-ant-1.6.2
Java-1.4.2
Postgresql-8.2.3
Apache-tomcat-5.5.20
When i executed ant fresh_install in step no 7, the following is displayed.
dspace>cd /usr/local/dsource
/usr/local/dsource dspace>ant fresh_install
Buildfile: build.xml
compile:
BUILD FAILED
/usr/local/dspace-1.4.1-source/build.xml:120: Directory
/usr/local/dspace-1.4.1-source/build/classes creation was not successful for
an unknown reason
Total time: 1 second
/usr/local/dsource dspace>
The file "build.xml" is not building. The path is /usr/local/dsource, but it
is taking /usr/local/dspace-1.4.1-source/build.xml.
How to build this file?
