Hi,
I would like to add a list of usernames within DSpace to link the members of
staff with any research or published outputs they have worked on, to do this I
was going to add an additional filed into the Metadata field registry to map
to their individually assigned username.
Is this the correct approach and am I right in assuming because the new field
isn't part of any known metadata initiative the newly added field would be
ignored by any harvesting mechanism collecting data from our DSpace
installation.
(by the way we are currently running Dspace 1.5, we are hoping to upgrade to
1.6 but probably not until the summer)
