Hi Christian, A similar question was asked just last week on dspace-general mailing list. You can see the thread of discussion here:
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00242.html In particular, here's the response I sent about the new features in DSpace 1.6.0 which help you to Delegate Administration privileges: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00250.html So, you may want to think about upgrading to DSpace 1.6.0. Not only are there many new features available, but that release also helped to make steps to improve our Administrative privileges in DSpace. In 1.6.0, there are now Site Administrators, Community Admins, Collection Admins and even Item Admins. Previous to 1.6.0, there were only Site Admins and Collection Admins. In 1.6.0 you can also configure exactly what rights you want each Administrative role (Site/Community/Collection/Item Admin) to have, based on your local institutions policies. For more information on configuring these access rights, see the 1.6.0 Configuration Documentation: http://www.dspace.org/1_6_0Documentation/ch05.html#N126F0 Good luck, - Tim On 5/3/2010 3:15 PM, Christian León wrote: > Hi there, > > I wonder if somebody could help us!..
