That's pretty much what I was trying to say I already tried. I deleted everything in the [dspace]/reports directory, changed the start date in [dspace]/config/dstat.cfg, restarted Tomcat, and then ran stat-initial, stat-report-initial, and all the -general and -monthly scripts as well, and restarted Tomcat a few more times just for kicks.
I've still got empty monthly reports showing up on the statistics page going back to 2005, so they're apparently being stored somewhere else. I didn't see a table in the dspace database that seemed to be related to reports, but I'm not completely familiar with the database schema to know if report info might be tucked away somewhere in there.
