Shashidhar,

Encryption/Decryption is not available in DSpace 1.6.  If you have 
access to a Java developer, it may be possible for you to customize your 
DSpace installation to provide this functionality.

Offhand, I don't know of anyone who has integrated encryption/decryption 
into their DSpace installation.  But, hopefully if someone out there has 
done this sort of work, they will respond to this message.
