Miguel, I believe what you want to do is manually create the group "INTRANET" (exactly as you typed it in the IPAuthentication configuration). The group is not auto-created by the authentication method. It just assigns users to these groups dynamically upon login.
Once you create it manually, you should be able to use it to restrict access to collections, and upon login, the users in that IP range should be included in that group. -- sands fish Software Engineer MIT Libraries Technology Research & Development [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> E25-131 On Aug 17, 2010, at 9:44 AM, Miguel A. After creating the group as plugin.sequence.org.dspace.authenticate.AuthenticationMethod = \ org.dspace.authenticate.IPAuthentication, \ org.dspace.authenticate.PasswordAuthentication authentication.ip.INTRANET = 10.1 Restart tomcat and try to access my groups tab but can not find the group Intranet. This is the procedure? Thank you very much. -- Miguel A. Robledo Infraestructura de Firma Digital Tucuman 2657 1º Piso - Santa Fe Teléfono: 0342-4508700 int. 5606 <ATT00001..c><ATT00002..c>
