Can I limit the search fields configuration to one collection? And have one set of search fields for one collection and another for other collection?
Any idea how to go about it?
Many thanks,

Hi Renata
This might be a better question for the dspace-tech list.
You may be able to limit the search fields to a specific collection,
however how to do this without effecting other search facilities I am
not exactly sure. The search facility is an API so I would assume you
would ultimately have to write something yourself to do this. I've not
tried this here at Sydney, but would be interested in knowing if
anyone else has done this.
Cheers

This metadata is completely different to what I have now in another existing collection.I am wondering what kind of impact this could have on changing search fields - can I limit the search fields configuration to one collection?
