Hello Anna,
the variables in the form ${priorDefinedKey} are used in the source
directory version of dspace.cfg not the installation directory.
During the installation/update process the variables will be
interpolated by the ant build step. The targets fresh_install and
init_configs will interpolate them (expand the properties).
