Dear all,

For our repository , we are using manakin themes in order to distinguish the
“look and feel” of our communities.

However these communities are completely different and need also some
special functionality and vocabulary. For example, one of my communities
doesn’t need the browse by author function. As I see in the documentation we
can easily configure that into dspace.cg file with webui.browse.index
property. However if I choose to comment

“webui.browse.index.2 = author:metadata:dc.contributor.*,dc.creator:text”
line it will affect all my other communities!

Also I would like to distinguish some vocabularies into i18n/messages files
but at this time ( because the i18n repository seems to be common for all
themes??) I’m

forced to create new lines specific to my theme and apply it into xsl style
sheet of each community (theme).

So my question is there any easy way to affect special configuration and/or
vocabulary to a specific theme?

Is there anything obvious I do not understand with the “themes”
customization?

Thanks again for your answer,
