Hi McKeane, Can you give us more information how/where you are doing this build? I just tried it myself (on Windows, with Maven 2.2.1 however) and it worked without any errors.
First, can you verify that you are running 'mvn package' from the '[dspace-1.7.0-rc1-release]/dspace/' directory? Also, what flavor of Linux/Unix are you using? What is your Maven version? If you try running 'mvn -U clean package' do you get any different results? (That command will clean out old builds, and then force your local maven cache to update itself.) Just trying to track down what could be the cause of these problems. - Tim On 11/25/2010 3:02 PM, Mckeane Thomas wrote: > Hello, > I am trying to install the new release version Dspace 1.7, I have > downloaded both copies that is (dspace-1.7.0-rc1-release and > dspace-1.7.0-rc1-src-release).
