Hi Tim:

Yes, it has been implemented and is included in the upcoming 1.7 release - but
you can use it perfectly well with1.6.2. Just use the attached java fie, or
check out any subversion branch or trunk after 1.6.2 , or any packaged
distribution after 1.6.2 (e.g. the 1.7.0 rc1 source package at sourceforge).
You don't need to use those whole builds, just take DayTable source file.The
distribution just lagged the doc a bit.

Thanks,

Richard

Hello Everyone,

  I saw this in the DSpace manual: http://www.dspace.org/1_6_2Documentation/ch05.html#N13501 and it talks about implementing the Embargo settings with a change in the Embargo Setter.  In particular it says to use this line:

plugin.single.org.dspace.embargo.EmbargoSetter = org.dspace.embargo.DayTableEmbargoSetter

However looking in the source code tar ball I couldn’t find any java file that implemented this.  I managed to find a version of it here: http://scm.dspace.org/svn/repo/sandbox/dspace-async-prototype/trunk/dspace-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/embargo/DayTableEmbargoSetter.java

Which doesn’t seem to be an official release.

My question I guess has anyone actually implemented this feature as it is described in the manual?  Either my using the described method or writing something else?

Thanks,
Tim
