Greetings! We are currently implementing Dspace 1.6 JSPUI for our library`s digital collections. It is only in beta phaze for the moment.
But I have tested Dspace 1.7 and I like very much the new Manakin theme and I find easier to configure the Manakin interface. We might try to change to the new version and to XMLUI but adding other languages is critical. Unfortunately only relying to the browser language to guess the user language is not good enough. My question would be if there is a way in Dspace 1.7 to use language links and change the language? I tried this: https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-332 but its not working, at least not for this 1.7 version. I would really apreciate if someone could help with this question! Thank you very much!
