This might be a stupid question, but I have been wondering about the different
date fields in Dublin Core. I want to put item publishing date into some field.
Is dc.date.issued right field for that or does DSpace reserve it for it's own
purposes? dc.date.submitted is another alternative.

There are also following fields in metadata schema.
dc.date.accessioned Date DSpace takes possession of item.
dc.date.available Date or date range item became available to the public.
dc.date.copyright Date of copyright.
dc.date.created Date of creation or manufacture of intellectual content
if different from date.issued.
dc.date.issued Date of publication or distribution.
dc.date.submitted Recommend for theses/dissertations.
dc.date.updated The last time the item was updated via the SWORD
interface
dc.date Use qualified form if possible.

Is there any document about which if these fields I can use myself and which
may cause problems unless I let DSpace to update them?
