Hi Craig,

The first thing you'll want to do is look at your logs. There's a guide
here: https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error

In the terminal, its easy to watch the logs with: tail -f
/dspace/log/dspace.log.*YYYY-MM-DD*

After that, if you need to do deeper forensics, attaching a debugger is your
friend. There's a guide on attaching NetBeans debugger to your webapp.
