The virus scan curation task is designed to run with clamd in network listening 
mode.

Configure the clam daemon to listen in network mode at that same ip address and 
port. 

Open the configuration file in the clamd install directory in 
<clamd install dir>/etc/clamd.conf.  Comment out any enabledLocalSocket... 
properties.

Locate the tcpsocket and tcpaddr properties. Type in the correct socket and tcp 
address values for their respective properties

The virus scan task should be configured to use the clamd ip address and port 
(url https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Virus+Scan+Curation+Task).
