I just did an upgrade from dspace 1.6.2 to 1.7.1
However an old items can't be displayed as they are displayed in jspui
interface. To fix this problem I just add similar code used by default
fields inside item-view.xsl & DIM-Handler.xsl.it works fine for the
newly added items. New items are displayed according to the code a have
added. still the problem is for the old items which can't be displayed
based on the coded syntax inside both item-view.xsl& DIM-Handler.xsl
