You should be able to use bulk metadata editing for this (https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC/System+Administration#SystemAdministration-BatchMetadataEditing). Export the metadata for all 'old' items, open in a spreadsheet program, remove all columns except for the first one (id) and the one that holds the hdl.handle.net URLs, use search&replace to change the prefix, save as .csv.
