Not to confuse the issue, but I am running a 1.7.1 instance and using Mirage,
but could not replicate this behavior, e.g. I'm not seeing this "Page Not
Found" issue.

Will send the url in a separate email to Bram as this is not generally a
publicly advertised site.

However, when I tried one of the cited instances in the JIRA, it was replicated
as reported.

Seems to be a genuine bug, Mirage related, as tested on two non-mirage 1.7's
didn't give the problem:

logged it as a bug in JIRA for fixing

The search box in our Mirage install's sidebar appears to be broken in the same
way it's broken on the demo site:

http://demo.dspace.org/xmlui/handle/10673/9528
http://dcommon-test.bu.edu/xmlui/handle/2144/999

Searching "This Collection" (which should be "This Community") on either of
those pages produces "Page not found."  I can't find any documentation of this;
is this known? Is there a solution?
