I just ran into a strange problem with a dspace 1.7.1 site on tomcat 7 with java 1.6.
We're using multiple login methods, and the login page is getting occasionally cached by cocoon with a jsessionid embedded in the links. <a href="/xmlui/shibboleth-login;jsessionid=718337E3A1A3ED1B8D2F334DEB52A541"> This breaks this link in particular, since it's handled by the apache proxy. I can fix it with a rewrite, but I'm wondering what exactly is going on here.
