I never encountered this, the only things I can recommend are for you to send the full error you see to this list and look for errors/warnings in the tomcat log file at the time of the error. I did a quick Google search for "tomcat connection reset" and while it didn't tell me anything definite, I have a feeling that your pool of connection may be too low. Another wild guess - do you have enough memory for tomcat? The log should answer these questions.
