Hi,

DSpace version 1.7.1 has a column in the Eperson table called last_active,
however I just searched the entire source library and I didn’t find any
reference to it. Our Users asked today for me to make a modification to DSpace
to store the time of the Users’ last login in order to assist in the yearly
User revalidation process and I didn’t remember this column being there. It’s
easy enough for me to add code to the Eperson class to update this column upon
successful authentication/login, but I’m just wondering if it was an oversight
in not being there already? Or was there another purpose intended?

Thanks,

Sue
