I am in the process of upgrading from DSpace 1.5.1 to 1.7.1 and have been noticing these messages in the dspace.log files:
1. 2011-08-15 18:10:53,367 ERROR org.dspace.kernel.DSpaceKernelManager @ WARN Failed to unregister the MBean: org.dspace:name=1a471376-4d7d-482e-99d4-ca26113fa958,type=DSpaceKernel I Googled this error and found this: https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DSRV-15 and am wondering if I should just disregard these “…failed to unregister the MBean…” messages for now? 2. 2011-08-15 18:10:39,397 ERROR org.dspace.statistics.SolrLoggerUsageEventListener @ Not found I have not really found any good documentation on exactly how to configure Statistics in 1.7.1, for example, after I’ve configured all the properties in the dspace.cfg file, what scripts do I need to run and when? Initial? Daily? Monthly? Do I need to “convert my log files”??? I would appreciate any help with these 2 issues.
