Thank you Bram and Peter. From your response, I'm now contemplating the value of a simple "Didn't find what you're looking for? Try Google Scholar [search box]" type line somewhere that makes sense. ________________________________ From: Peter Dietz [[email protected]] Sent: Monday, August 22, 2011 2:29 PM To: Bram Luyten Cc: Brown, Simon Contractor, Digital Consulting Services; [email protected] Subject: Re: [Dspace-tech] Adding Google search box to DSpace
There doesn't appear to be a scholar API, so you're either bound to screen-scraping the requests, or showing an iframe of scholar. But Bram is spot on with passing "site:" to your search to get just your content.
