Hello We are testing an installation of DSpace 1.7.2 and seem to be having issues searching and browsing our dc.date.created field. An advanced search on "Date" returns us no results when we should see some, and trying to set a Browse link for dc.date.created returns a blank screen. The contents of our dc.date.created field is actually text based, and can include values such as "1972", "[1972]", and "[19-?]".
Here are the relevant parts of the dspace.cfg file, It's possible we haven't got a grasp of the correct format: ##### Fields to Index for Search ##### search.index.12 = date:dc.date.created ###### Browse Configuration ###### webui.browse.index.5 = datecreated:item:datecreated # Set the options for what can be sorted by webui.itemlist.sort-option.3 = datecreated:dc.date.created:text Can anyone help us with the configuration of this?
