Hi, everyone:

I have come up with a weird problem with one of my collections in DSpace.

I am running DSpace 1.7.1 using the JSPUI. I have a collection of PDFs of a
magazine (Cornell Chronicle). These were added to my DSpace repository a few
years ago. Recently, one of our librarians discovered that searches were not
working right for this collection. For instance, if I look at the extracted
text from the Filter Media program for a specific volume and issue, I see a
specific phrase like "Steven P. Jobs", but if I do a search for that term I get
no hits. This is true if I search globally across my repository or just within
the collection.

The only thing that I know is different about this collection as that the items
were set on the Volume level and the bitstreams are the individual issues, so
an item contains around 40 PDFs (bitstreams) that contain around 20 pages each.

I have tried running index-init and deleting the extracted text and re-running
filter-media, but still no luck with the searches for this collection.

Search DOES work on other collections. Does anyone have any ideas as to what
may be going on?
