I'm not familiar with the jsvc setup you're using, so I'm not sure which one of those java/jsvc processes _actually_ runs dspace. Just to make sure, if you already didn't do it, restart the whole server to get rid of any processes from your previous configuration. Then you should be fine.
You probably know that now the correct way for you to start/stop/restart dspace is to use "service dspace start", "service dspace start", "service dspace start" respectively.
