When you use ldap.login.specialgroup, LDAP users are not actually listed as members (i.e. if you open the group in XMLUI group editor it will say "This group has no members."), but the premissions you set for the group will be effective for LDAP users. This is intended behaviour. Can you re-check if this is the case?
