I am attempting to set up Dspace 1.7.2 on a Red Hat Enterprise 6.0, Postgres 9.1, Tomcat 6.0 Apache 2.x;. test-database reveals no problems; no errors are listed in the Postgres logs, no errors are listed in the Tomcat logs. I attempted to create the account from the command line when logged in as the dspace user.
Any clue as to what is going on would be helpful.
