We have been using Dspace for a while now, and are trying to rectify some
of the mistakes that we made when we first started out. On a few of our
collections, the URI field is incorrect. We don't use handle.net but
that's where the records are pointing to. For example:
http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/8401
needs to be
http://dspace.willard.lib.mi.us/handle/123456789/8401<http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/8401>
It didn't make any difference until we wanted to use VuFind - now they have
to be corrected.
I have exported the collections and have done a bulk search and replace on
the offending text entry in all the dublin_core.xml files and am ready to
import the collections back, but I want to make sure that nothing but the
URI changes. What is the procedure to basically do this "in-place", so that
in the end, the only change that will be made will be the URI?
