There's more information in the stack trace - you'll see which file
exactly is missing. My guess is you added a reference to a sitemap but
somehow the xsl file or theme directory is missing or misplaced.
Perhaps you missed the slash after theme name in sitemap? The slash is
important.

OK, for now, forget about creating a new theme and try it with
Kubrick. I just pasted the template from my previous email into
Kubrick/Kubrick.xsl and it worked.

You don't even have to make Kubrick the default theme just yet. You
can view a particular page using a particular theme (say Kubrick) by
appending "?themepath=Kubrick/" at the end.
