Hi Vera,

I'm copying the dspace-tech list back in, so that others can help if 
they have ideas. It's best to send your replies to the entire list. 
That way others can help out, and if others encounter this same issue in 
the future, they may be able to find a solution by searching the list 
archives.

Can you send us what messages do appear in your dspace.log file when you 
perform a submission?  It seems rather odd that no errors are being 
logged if an "internal system error" is being displayed. So, it may help 
if you send what information is logged at the point that you see the 
"internal system error" page appear.

Thanks for sending along the Tomcat logs. In this case though, 
unfortunately though they don't seem to provide any useful clues as the 
what may be happening.
