In order to retrieve the handle of the item the bitstream belongs to, along with the bitstream information you can use SELECT distinct h.handle, b.* FROM bitstream b, handle h, bundle2bitstream b2b, item2bundle i2b WHERE b.internal_id='30837199014132132506155472754588837323 ' AND b.bitstream_id=b2b.bitstream_id AND b2b.bundle_id=i2b.bundle_id AND i2b.item_id=h.resource_id AND h.resource_type_id=2; Maybe the bitstream was flagged as deleted and no proper 'cleanup' was done. There is a column deleted in the bitstream table.
