Nitin, Can you check your DSpace & Tomcat log files to see if any errors are being reported there? If there are errors, please send the stack trace to this list.
Here's a guide for locating errors in log files: https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error A few other questions for you to answer for us on this list: * Is there information in your "item" table in the DSpace database (you should be able to view its rows using pgAdmin3)? This is the table that stores the basic info about all items, so there should be data in this table. In fact, the data in this table should look nearly identical in both your Ubuntu 1.8.2 and Windows 1.4.2 DSpace databases. * Did you customize the default settings of DSpace 1.8.2 in any way? For example, did you enable the Discovery search/browse system (https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC18/Discovery)? If you enabled Discovery, then you would need to run '/bin/dspace update-discovery-index'. However, if you did not enable Discovery, then this wouldn't matter. - Tim On 8/3/2012 5:45 AM, Nitin Paliwal wrote: > > Dear Technical Support team > > thanks for you support > > I also run /bin/dspace index-init. and also reindex the database using > PGADMIN3 TOOL as well.
