The same result can be obtained using OpenSearch, see an example here: http://eprints.rclis.org/simple-search?query=&submit=Go In jspui it works well with both legacy lucene search engine (< dspace 3.0) and the new discovery search engine (from the next release, dspace 3.0). In XMLUI as far as I know there was an issue (that should be solved in the next 3.0) so open search doesn't work with discovery. Andrea
