Hello Steve, check the metadata registry of the instance you are importing to. Seems you got no metadata field dc.coverage.
A default installation includes two qualified versions of dc.coverage spatial and temporal. Btw you can run the import with a test option, which will serve as a validity test without actually importing the items.
