No, I did not upgrade Maven and I still use version 3.0. And it works for a long time... Have you tried to install DSpace 1.6.2? Does it works? What version of maven do you use? I am very curious if someone is able to install 1.6.2 without any troubles (this piece of information can help me a lot).
