I tested all serializers,I thought the xhtml serializer was the right one because if you change the tag <doctype-system> or <doctype-public> in the serializer the doctype declaration of the Web page changes too, however the tag <omit-xml-declaration> does not work, must be a bug.
OAI would be the best and most elegant solution, we are harvested by many OAI harvesters without any problem, but a few weeks ago we sent an email to Scirus and this was their answer, maybe it's time to send a new email asking about their OAI capabilities.
