Hi Cotanio, I wasn't able to reproduce your problem. In DSpace 3.0, I added the dc.extent metadata field. In an item, I added values for this field, both without a language and with language codes. When exporting with the -m flag, all dc.extent fields are still in dublin_core.xml. The only difference between an item exported without and with the -m flag are the following missing fields: date.accessioned, date.available, identifier.uri, description.provenance. I also verifies that when you use a separate schema (local.extent instead of dc.extent), it's still exported, albeit in a separate file metadata_local.xml.
