Hi,
Is there a way I can, as an administrator (and via the admin interface), delete
permanently an item ***when it is still in the workspace of an e-person***. The
button "Permanently delete" from the Edit Item page doesn't do anything (no
errors, nothing).
I can see in WorkspaceItem.java:
/**
* Delete the workspace item. The entry in workspaceitem, the unarchived
* item and its contents are all removed (multiple inclusion
* notwithstanding.)
*/
public void deleteAll() throws SQLException, AuthorizeException,
IOException
{
/*
* Authorisation is a special case. The submitter won't have REMOVE
* permission on the collection, so our policy is this: Only the
* original submitter or an administrator can delete a workspace item.
*/
(...)
But this is never triggered when button is clicked (nothing is logged as well).
This is the case with JSPUI version 1.5.1 and still the case with XMLUI version
1.8.2.
I understand I can, with version 1.8.2, login as the user and then delete the
item, but I was expecting to do a big cleanup of old submissions in workspaces
in version 1.5.1, that is before to migrate to version 1.8.2. Anyhow this
button leads one to think it can be done through admin interface.
Thanks in advance.
