Because I have made changes to some of the core code I got to
[dspace-source]
and run
/l/local/bin/mvn package
I've noticed that the config directory in [dspace] is over written with
what is in
[dspace-source]/dsapce/config
and things also get backed up, for example:

-rw-r--r-- 1 dspace dspace 1436 Feb 12 14:29 item-submission.dtd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 dspace dspace 14781 Feb 12 14:29
item-submission.xml-20130211-113532.old
-rw-r--r-- 1 dspace dspace 17346 Feb 12 14:29 item-submission.xml~

So my question is, for dpsace 3.0, if I want to make change to say
item-submission.xml, I should do it in
[dspace-source]/dspace/config/item-submission.xml
and the same with the other config files. Is there a way for it to work so
that it leaves [dspace] alone?
