I think this thread got derailed. I have an alternate way to create the same
issue (same stack trace and missing folder content). The real issue is the
missing folder content because the stack trace indicates the resource in the
folder is missing.
So the real question should be "Why is this folder missing?".
That would be a build issue.
Any ideas along those lines?
What is supposed to be in C:\dspace\webapps\xmlui\WEB-INF\classes and why
didn't it get built?
In my build log (from >mvn package) I get for the xmlui component:

(webxml attribute is missing from war task, or ignoreWebxml attribute is
specified as 'true')
So, it tells me not to expect a war file for xmlui.
I assume this is why (after the ant install) files don't end up in
C:\dspace\webapps\xmlui\WEB-INF\classes.
What could cause that?
ignoreWebxml is not in dspace.cfg nor is it in my profiles.xml. Not sure
where it would be, but a search of [dspace-build]\dspace\ did not find it in
any file.
Any ideas out there as to why the xmlui war file is not created?
Secondly, after installing this w/o an xmlui war, why does it run just fine
until there is an attempt to debug it?
1) I set the INFO's in C:\dspace\config\log4j.properties to DEBUG.
It does the same as with Coelho - I get the same screen and same traces.
Evidently, running with NetBeans does the same. I also tried debugging with
NetBeans, but it wants to connect to the source. I haven't figured out yet
how to show it where my source is (in a way it's happy with ;-).
Hope Coelho has this problem solved by now - I'd like to get over it too!
