Hi,
I am trying to produce stats reports and cannot get the output I
want as the owning item, collection and community fields are multi-valued and
cannot be grouped (I am doing the processing using SOLR 4.3.0).
Does anyone know what impact it would have if I flattened the
index to ensure that each record only had one reference to the owning item
,collection or community (in affect if a record has three owning collections I
would create three records [ in a new index as it is complicated to update a
record without a unique key].
I assuming here that the stats interface just does queries with
the ID of the Dspace object that it is concerned with and so this should affect
the results of the queries.
All this processing would be done with SOLRJ which I have used
quite a bit recently to process the SOLR stats index after an import and export
that changes the ID's of Dspace objects so that the stats no longer appear in
the interface (they are there in the index but have the old database ID's).
