HI,
I'm using DSpace 3.1 with xmlui interface. When I give email address for
new user registration, it just back with the message <* Unable to send
email to this address.>. I'm using <smtp.gmail.com> as mail server. I did
the following email settings in the </dspace/config/dspace.cfg>. After that
I restart tomcat. Should I need to change <dspace.cfg> in the directory
<dspace-3.1-src-release/ dspace/config/> also ?
May I request you to kindly rectify the problem please.
With regards,
sanjib k deka

# An option is added to disable the mailserver. By default, this property
is set to false
# By setting mail.server.disabled = true, DSpace will not send out emails.
# It will instead log the subject of the email which should have been sent
# This is especially useful for development and test environments where
production data is used when testing functionality.
#mail.server.disabled = false
