My experience with DSpace ver 3.1 in XMLUI and JSPUI as controlled vocab is
concerned:
1. In the line of srsc i developed subject categories bu using DDC 21st ed
(upto third summary) in two version English (ddcE) and Bengali (ddcB) (in
Unicode - UTF-8);
2. My system is Ubuntu LTS 12.04 with all regular support software for
Dspace (version 3.1);
3. Changed dspace.cfg I got these two properly in JSPUI but no trace in
XMLUI;
4. During submission I found Dc.Subject is still connected with srsc.xml
5. Changed input-form.xml to include ddcE in place of srsc with qualifier
ddc
6. Copied the block to repeat the field and then changed input-form.xml to
include ddcE in place of ddcE with qualifier others (very important means
it need to be matched the qualifiers given with Dc.Subject in metadata
registry)
7. Both the subject categories (in English and Unicode Bengali) appeared
immediately in JSPUI submission/editing/committing interfaces but not in
XMLUI.
8. Permissions are exactly in right order.
WHAT TO DO ???
