DSpace v3.1 (JSPUI) There is an "Add EPerson" button in "Administer EPeople" section. I want to create a new user who can log in. I click on [Add EPerson], write email and other info, check "Can Log in" box. And press save.
*It doesn't make sense.* The email is sent to the email address 'newuserXX' as soon as I press [Add EPerson] button. While it should be sent only to the specified email address when [Save] is clicked. What is the purpose of *Can Log In* check box when we cannot set the password??
