CSV is just a generic format, like a TXT file, the data in it can be encoded in many ways. Therefore to save effort, I suggest you go ahead with RIS. This is the command to import a RIS file:
[dspace]/bin/dspace import -b -m mapFile -e [email protected] -c 123456789/1 -s /export/export-ris -i ris * [dspace] is the directory where your DSpace is installed * mapFile is a file created by the import process containing newly created handles that can be used to revert a failed import * [email protected] is the email of the dspace administrator (this user must exist in DSpace), the first administrator created during DSpace installation logs in using PasswordAuthentication * 123456789/1 is the handle of the collection where you want to create the new items * /export/export-ris is the .ris file with records you want to import Regards, ~~helix84 Compulsory reading: DSpace Mailing List Etiquette https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Mailing+List+Etiquette ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Introducing Performance Central, a new site from SourceForge and AppDynamics.
