Hi Nicholas,

You can also get a total number of Items in the repository just by 
clicking on "Browse by Title" in the interface. That should give you a 
listing of all titles along with a total count.

This is perhaps the easiest way to get a "quick count", if you don't 
want to query the database or Solr directly.
