Glad to hear that it works for you. Although I'm not sure how those
problems were related.

handle.dir = ${dspace.dir}/handle-server

This particular problem's solution is to use the actual dspace
installation directory in place of ${dspace.dir}. This happens
automatically during the "ant update" or "ant fresh_install" stage, so
you must have skipped that one somehow.

However, I'm not sure why the resource page is being displayed, the
code looks like DSpace home should be displayed. If you can figure it
out, please report a bug.
