By comparing the original forms I see a difference. In the original template
the code {1} is for the name of the collection; in our customized file it was
meant to be Title of Submission.
I will have to check with @mire because it seems that our customization wasn't
ported properly from previous 1.6 to 1.8

no, there were no changes in this template between 1.6 and 1.8:

So the added parameter must be your customization. Depending on whether you use
the traditional workflow or XMLWorkflow, check the following files for
arguments.
