Hello everyone,
One of the dspace users here submitted a duplicate item, but he does not
want to just delete the duplicate item because someone might have
bookmarked or referred to it.
I was wondering if I could delete the duplicate item, and then change the
ITEM_ID value of the duplicate item's handle to point to the original item?
Or this could have some side effect?
For example:
HANDLE | ITEM_ID
id/123 | 987
id/124 | 988 <- change this do 987 after deleting item 988
Or is there a better way to do it?
Ats,
